Locum Doc provides a web-based contacting service. With the cooperation of NISDA, Sessional GPs on the Northern Ireland locum list will be available to you to contact by text message direct to their mobile phones, with the completion of one single on-line form.
We are not an agency, and would encourage you to check the credentials of anyone working for you in line with your clinical governance responsibilities.
Because the locums will have filled in an on-line profile indicating when and where they are available to work, you will only be sending text messages to those who are available to work for you. This will minimise your costs, and maximise your convenience in contacting locums. They will then phone you if they wish to accept the offer of work.
